Last updated: This Privacy Policy describes how Redilix (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our website, create an account, purchase software products, download files, manage licenses, or contact support (collectively, the “Services”).
Redilix is a product initiative of Renaisoft Solutions. Personal data processed through the Services is handled under this brand and by the Renaisoft Solutions team that operates it.
Please also read our Terms and Conditions and Cookie Policy.
By using the Services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required by law for a specific processing activity, we will ask for it separately.
1. Who is responsible for your data
For personal data collected through the Redilix website and customer dashboard, the data controller is Renaisoft Solutions, operating the Redilix brand.
If you install and run a software product purchased from Redilix on your own servers or hosting account, you (or your organization) are typically the controller of personal data collected from your end users on that deployment. This Privacy Policy covers our marketplace and account Services, not every site you build with our software.
2. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
2.1 Account and profile information
- Name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form)
- Role or account type (for example customer or administrator)
- Optional profile details you choose to provide (such as phone, address, company, tax/GST identifiers where required for invoicing)
- Country or location-related details used for billing or currency display
2.2 Order, payment, and licensing information
- Products, plans, and add-ons you purchase
- Order amounts, currency, payment status, and timestamps
- Invoice and transaction references
- License keys, domains, activation details, and download history associated with your account
Payment card numbers are processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card details on our servers.
2.3 Support and communications
- Messages you send via contact forms, email, or other support channels
- Attachments or technical details you share to help resolve an issue
2.4 Technical and usage data
- IP address, browser type, device information, and approximate location derived from IP
- Pages visited, referring URLs, and interaction events needed to operate and secure the Services
- Cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy
- Authentication session data and security logs
2.5 Social or third-party sign-in (if enabled)
If you sign in with a third-party identity provider, we may receive basic profile information (such as name and email) from that provider, according to the permissions you grant and that provider’s policies.
3. How we use personal data
We use personal data to:
- create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and provide the customer dashboard;
- process orders, payments, invoices, refunds, and license fulfillment;
- deliver downloads, updates, and product-related notices;
- provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- improve site performance, reliability, and product experience;
- comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
- send transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets, license notices);
- send service or marketing communications where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent — you can opt out of non-essential marketing emails.
4. Legal bases for processing (where applicable)
Depending on your location, we may rely on one or more of the following bases:
- Contract — to provide the Services and fulfill purchases you request;
- Legitimate interests — to secure and improve the Services, prevent fraud, and communicate about orders and product updates, balanced against your rights;
- Consent — where required (for example certain cookies or marketing);
- Legal obligation — to meet tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements.
5. How we share personal data
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Services (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, security, customer support tools), under contractual obligations to protect your data;
- Professional advisors (legal, accounting) when needed;
- Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- Business transfers — if Renaisoft Solutions or the Redilix business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
Third-party payment and identity providers process data under their own privacy policies when you interact with them at checkout or login.
6. International transfers
Our Service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps designed to provide an appropriate level of protection as required by applicable law (for example contractual safeguards).
7. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including:
- account data while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward;
- order, invoice, and license records for accounting, tax, dispute, and support purposes;
- security and technical logs for a limited period;
- support correspondence as needed to resolve issues and improve service.
When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
8. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These may include encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and monitoring.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for securing systems where you install purchased software.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law (for example GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or other local rules), you may have rights to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion of personal data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request data portability;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- opt out of marketing communications;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can update many account details in your dashboard. For other requests, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some rights are limited where we must retain data for legal, security, or contractual reasons.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate login, checkout, security, preferences, and (where enabled) analytics or marketing. Details are in our Cookie Policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings and any consent tools we provide.
11. Children’s privacy
The Services are directed to adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 (or the higher age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Software you deploy with our products
When you purchase and install Redilix software (or related products) on your own domain, you may collect personal data from your visitors and customers. You are responsible for:
- publishing your own privacy notices where required;
- configuring the software and third-party integrations lawfully;
- handling requests from your end users.
This Privacy Policy does not govern those deployments unless we expressly host or process that data for you under a separate agreement.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, products, or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted on this page. Where changes are material, we may provide additional notice (for example a website banner or email) when appropriate. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
